Paying attention to what the “seasons” are for your desired travel destinations is crucial when planning!

High (or peak) Season tends to be more expensive. It’s when the tourism industry in the destination expects lots of people to come. This usually is when that destination has the best weather. But it also means higher prices, larger crowds, etc.

Shoulder Season is the time between High and Low and is often the best time to go if you want to pay more attention to your budget. The weather is usually still pretty good, less crowded, save some money on hotels and tours.

Low Season is often times the worst weather, sometimes things will be closed because they don’t expect a lot of tourists and you can really budget travel.
