Today is the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Friends of the Bund gather at this memorial in Riverside Park every year. The uprising was organized by members of a Jewish anti-zionist labor movement. As someone was singing a Yiddish song a bike messenger rode past and yelled "free Palestine" at us.
