✨ I finally experienced Tiana’s Bayou Adventure… and y’all… I’m OBSESSED ✨

From the moment you step into the queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you are transported straight into the heart of New Orleans. The details are incredible—every corner tells a story, and it truly feels like you’re walking alongside Princess Tiana as she builds her dream.

As someone who already loves Tiana AND New Orleans, this ride just hits differently for me 💚✨ The music, the atmosphere, the storyline… it’s all so thoughtfully done!

I took way too many pictures of the queue (no regrets 😍) because I knew I had to share this experience with you all. If you’re someone who loves immersive storytelling and those little Disney details, this is a MUST-do.

And if riding this (and experiencing all the magic that comes with it) is on your list… I’d love to help make it happen ✨ Let’s start planning your next Disney trip!

✨ Resort Spotlight: Port Orleans Riverside ✨

I just got back from the most relaxing stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside, and I had to share because this resort is truly something special 💛

We stayed in Oak Manor, and the location could not have been better—just a short walk straight across to the main lobby, dining, and transportation. It made everything so easy, especially after long park days!

But honestly, the real magic here is the atmosphere. From the peaceful Sassagoula River to the winding pathways and beautiful Southern-style mansions, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside feels like a quiet escape from the hustle of the parks. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to slow down and enjoy your surroundings 🌿

And let’s talk about the rooms 😍
They are beautifully themed to The Princess and the Frog, which made my heart so happy because Tiana is one of my favorite princesses! Ever since visiting New Orleans, I’ve had such a soft spot for anything inspired by it—and Disney did such a great job bringing those subtle bayou and royal touches into the room ✨

And one of my favorite perks? You can take a quick walk (or boat ride!) over to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter for those famous Mickey-shaped beignets 🤍 Trust me… they’re worth it!

If you’re looking for a resort that’s beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm, this one should absolutely be on your list.

If you’d like to price a vacation here message me! You won’t be disappointed with this resort!

📸 Sharing some of my favorite photos from around the resort and our room!

Do you rope drop at Disney World? If not, you might want to try it on your next trip! Let me explain.

I’ll start by saying I have been to Disney approximately 20 times and had never, ever rope dropped before until this past Saturday. My family doesn’t like getting up early while on vacation and I get that….BUT……we’ve not been using our time wisely! 😬

On my most recent trip we (my two friends and I) decided to try it. We only had two days of park hopper tickets and we wanted to make the most of them.

We checked the park opening times and decided we wanted to start at Hollywood Studios. It opened at 8:30 that day for early park entry. We got up early, got ready, and headed over to the park. We arrived at 7:30 and went to get in line. There wasn’t many people there at that time so we were close to the front of the line. People came fast though! The line was getting very long behind and beside us.
To our surprise they started letting people in at 8:00!!

Slinky Dog Dash was first on our list. So we headed that way. As I went by the Starbucks I decided to grab a coffee and catch up to my friends at the ride. After getting my drink I rushed to Toy Story Land. To my surprise there were cast members standing right at the edge of that area scanning everyone’s bands/cards to see if they were staying at a Disney resort. That’s the early entry benefit! They let everyone into the park, but only guests staying in a Disney resort can go into the Lands and ride the rides. So that was another great thing for us!
I got through that check and made it to Toy Story Land at 8:11. I jumped in line there and was off by 8:24. My buddies had already got on by the time I made it up there so I had to ride with a stranger. 🤣

Next, I caught up with the girls at Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. We were inside by 8:33 and were finished with that ride by 8:46.

After that we headed to Rise of the Resistance. We made it through the queue and inside where BB8 and Rey appear by 9:11. We were the next group to get on when the ride went down. They gave us lightning lane passes to come back and ride once it was up and running again so we left there.

We decided to get in line for Toy Story Mania after that. I’m not sure because I didn’t take any pictures in there but I think it took us around 35-40 minutes to get on that one.

Then we headed to the Tower of Terror after that. By this time lines were getting longer. It still wasn’t too bad. We made it to Tower at 10:50. We stopped and got a snack along the way (I think) or we would have been there sooner. We were off of there at 11:40. Still not too bad for that one!!

After that we went back to Rise of the Resistance and used our lightning lane passes and got right on. Then we grabbed a Cold Brew Black Caf at Kat Saka’s Kettle, shopped a bit, and headed to Epcot!

All of this to say we rode FIVE of the most popular rides at Hollywood Studios by 12:00 all because we rope dropped. I will be doing that every time we go from now on! Well, if I can get my crew to agree. 🤣 I just might go without them if they’d rather sleep.
