RAINBOW WATER is inspired by the true story of how Jack Wedge’s grandparents met in the 1940s.

A couple years ago Jack stumbled upon an old family scrapbook which included a dictated interview between his aunt and grandparents- Sam & Mary.

In the 1940s, Sam got a job at a well drilling company. He was sent on a reconnaissance mission to find a pre-glacial river in the upper parts of New York state, outside of Rochester, NY.

He stayed at a boarding house in the area which coincidentally was also where Mary was staying. She was working as a nurse at the hospital a few miles away.

Rainbow Water is inspired by Sam and Mary’s love story, told through a surreal and animated lens.

Rainbow Water: an upcoming environmental storytelling film by Laser Days & co-produced with Hornet.

Welcome to the most dazzling holiday party of the year with La Mer ✨ The luxury skincare brand’s global campaign — directed by Samuel Jerome Mason — ushers us into a festive mansion, and the night unfolds in a whirlwind of opulence

Extensively detailed worldbuilding envelops viewers in La Mer’s holiday experience. The stylish interiors channel luxury window vignettes as well as architecture from the Gilded Age through the Roaring 20s, and choreography of early 20th century stagecraft like Busby Berkeley’s cinematic dance sequences.

From the grand staircase to the sparkling masks, every detail is expertly designed and crafted. Deep greens, glittering champagne golds, tinted glass, and polished surfaces create a dream world with a material palette that is unmistakably La Mer 🌊
