Welcome to the most dazzling holiday party of the year with La Mer ✨ The luxury skincare brand’s global campaign — directed by Samuel Jerome Mason — ushers us into a festive mansion, and the night unfolds in a whirlwind of opulence

Extensively detailed worldbuilding envelops viewers in La Mer’s holiday experience. The stylish interiors channel luxury window vignettes as well as architecture from the Gilded Age through the Roaring 20s, and choreography of early 20th century stagecraft like Busby Berkeley’s cinematic dance sequences.

From the grand staircase to the sparkling masks, every detail is expertly designed and crafted. Deep greens, glittering champagne golds, tinted glass, and polished surfaces create a dream world with a material palette that is unmistakably La Mer 🌊

With this exciting brand-direct work, we are proud to bring our special Hornet magic to the legacy of La Mer’s holiday campaign

Within Tishan Hsu’s solo exhibition at Lissan Gallery is a real-time, self-sustaining video piece called “emergent mesh”. The continuous work was built in Unreal Engine 5 by Hornet Directors, Laser Days.

In the 50-minute piece, an undulating surface cycles between two parallel worlds and a series of objects from Tishan’s practice, which pierce through and warp the mesh.

Once activated, the work operates on its own internal logic without requiring any human intervention. Fixed visual elements dance with built-in randomization, ensuring a new viewing experience for each visitor.
