Kundalini Yatras

Kundalini Yatras Devoted to creating and offering meditative journeys with spiritual intent. What is a Yatra? A yatra is a spiritual journey to help expand your mind and heart.

It takes you out of your daily routine, giving you the opportunity to reflect and move forward on your soul’s journey. A yatra can bring learning, adventure, new insights and new connections with others. Beautiful destinations, sacred spaces, and yogic retreats await you here. Kundalini Yatras was created by Siri Sat Kaur, and has shared and hosted journeys so far with Guru Dharam Singh Khalsa, Jo

seph Amanbir Young, and Dror Ashuah, in places such as Northern India and Tulum, Mexico, and will be hosting the upcoming "Awakened Dreaming" retreat in the beautiful Catskills Mountains in New York. "A "Yatra" is a journey on earth to one's Isht, one's higher self, one's altar, so destiny may not be altered, and one can travel to the destiny. Walk on land with one's feet where all the great men's feet have already walked. It is a self-purification"

Rooted in Her
Ancestral connection.

Rooted in the matrilineal line, we gather to remember — to reconnect with the unseen thread that links us to the women who came before and the strength they carry through us.

Sometimes we may feel drawn to our roots — toward remembrance, belonging, and deeper resonance.

This Saturday, we open a sacred space for women to release, receive, and remember.

Through breathwork, movement, meditation, mantra, and the healing resonance of the gong, we attune to the quiet wisdom of the lineage — and the guidance it still offers.

You’ll walk away rooted, reawakened, and deeply connected — with a deeper trust in your own power and the strength of the feminine line within you.

What if your practice could shift how you see yourself, your teaching—and the world around you?

I first encountered this course while hosting, learning, and growing alongside it—and it changed how I understood yoga.
Not just as movement, but as energy. As healing. As intelligence moving through the body.

What I love most is how it helps us better understand the energetic principles behind what we practice—moving beyond repetition or belief into direct, embodied awareness.

We explore meridians, marma points, elemental maps, and subtle anatomy—through practices rooted in Kundalini methodology but curated intuitively each day.
Each course is a living process—shaped by the moment, the group, and the shared field that forms.

This course will help you:
• Deepen your understanding of yoga through the lens of energetic and wisdom traditions
• Expand your perception—of yourself, your practice, and your relationships
• Create space to reflect, integrate, and see your inner landscape anew
• Experience a powerful weeklong container for deep energetic healing

We gather again. 🌿
Ancestral connection lives not only in memory, but in the unseen threads woven through our bodies, breath, and stories. On May 31st, we return to the OHM Center for a second women’s gathering — this time deepening into the sacred terrain of the matrilineal line.
After our last circle, new ideas stirred and a beautiful current opened. This next chapter continues that unfolding — a space to remember, root, and be held by the feminine line that shaped us.
Through ceremonial practice — breath, movement, meditation, mantra, and the resonance of the gong — we open the channels of ancestral remembrance, calling in guidance, protection, and grace.

It was a gift to be in class today for Sri Dharma Mittra’s 86th birthday.

I still remember his 70th celebration party—how quickly time moves. Through all these years, it’s been a privilege to study with him and witness his unwavering presence, sharp humor, deep commitment to the path of yoga, and his constant holding of a space filled with compassion and love.

Grateful for the teachings, the discipline, the light—and for the living example of what’s possible through a lifetime of devoted practice, and for a transmission that continues to unfold.

Happy Birthday, Dharma Mittra! 🙏

Excited to be back in person at Jivamukti this Tuesday.
Each month, Jivamukti offers a theme, and May’s—As Far as the Eye Can See—inspired last week’s set to lift the veil and invite deeper seeing. This week, aligned with the powerful Scorpio full moon, we’ll continue the journey with a grounding practice to expand our field of vision, support intuition, and illuminate the blind spots that limit our perception.

Clear seeing is a practice—let’s do it together.

This will be my last Tuesday class for a couple of weeks while I’m away—Melissa Wu will be teaching on May 14 & 21—and I’ll be back with you in June.

In this special class, we’ll explore the power of mantra as both a steadying force for the mind and a tool for personal transformation. Throughout our practice — from movement to meditation — we’ll work with sacred sound and vibration to restore clarity, calm, and connection.

Research shows that even virtual chanting can reduce stress, elevate mood, and help people feel more connected — both within themselves and with others.

Through mantra, breathwork, and meditation, we’ll strengthen the mind’s ability to stay centered amidst life’s inevitable madness, using sound, rhythm, and resonance as a bridge back to our true nature: light, calm, and inner clarity.

This Sunday morning, I’ll be teaching a special class in honor of Mother’s Day. My own mother is no longer here in the physical, so I use this day to remember her — and to honor the energy of the Divine Mother in all forms.

Whether you’re a mother, have one, are missing one, or simply connecting to the sacred feminine within — this class is a space to be nourished and renewed.

It’s for anyone who wants to begin the day in a meaningful and nourishing way. And if you’re celebrating later, this morning practice is something you can gift to yourself.

Open to all, wherever you are — even if it’s not Mother’s Day where you live. We’ll still gather in the healing field of the Mother — grounding, flowing, and connecting to Her power, compassion, and grace.

All are welcome. Come be held. 💗

So grateful to have been part of the 2025 Neuroscience & Yoga Conference this year — a powerful space where science, research, and tradition meet. As a longtime teacher, lifelong student, and yoga therapy training director, I’ve spent years exploring how yoga supports mental, physical, and spiritual health. It’s affirming to see these connections deeply studied by medical doctors, neuroscientists, and wellness professionals — bringing tangible research to what many of us have long felt and known in practice

This year’s topics included neuroplasticity, pediatric brain injuries, endocrine health, osteoporosis, fertility, mantra, and consciousness. These kinds of gatherings strengthen our ability to advocate for yoga in therapeutic and clinical settings — while bridging traditions and disciplines in a shared language.

I attended both online and in person — and even picked up a few new ways to practice chair yoga. Always learning. It was also lovely to connect with fellow attendees in person

If you missed it, a free encore version will be available along with other options — and it returns next year.

Thank you ....and the whole team for curating such a meaningful and multidimensional offering. I’m excited to bring more of this into our upcoming yoga therapy training and ongoing practice.

Dear All,

We hope your spring is unfolding gently, and that you’re finding ways to renew and restore with the energy of the season.

Last year, during our Summer Solstice retreat at in Woodstock, we experienced an unusually hot June weekend — nearly 100 degrees — more like a July heatwave. It pushed us to our edges, yet the group remained centered and deeply focused through the intensity of the practices. The shared energy held us steady, and perhaps that fire was moving something profound through each of us.

The plan was to cool off with a swim in the pond during our break… but just as we made our way there, a sudden rainstorm rolled in. Instead of swimming, we were drenched by the most blessed downpour — a moment of pure grace. We wandered the land in the rain, visited the pyramid, and soaked up the grounding presence of the bees, gently buzzing within their hives — the sacred guardians of the land.

The photo above was taken by one of our participants just after that storm. It felt like a message from the land itself — a moment of cleansing, clarity, and surrender.
As a retreat facilitator, I’m always reminded: prepare for the unexpected. We can’t control the weather (or much else, really), and even with the best-laid plans, life will carry us somewhere even more meaningful when we allow it. Sometimes what we think are disruptions are actually blessings in disguise — moments that move the group exactly where we need to go.

We’re so looking forward to returning this year, and seeing what the solstice has in store for us.

We look forward to practicing together again, laughing together, sharing meals, and embracing the unexpected magic that unfolds along the way.

Love and Light,
Siri Sat & Guru Dharam

Happy and blessed birthday, dear Rajni Kaur 💫🎂🎁🎈🎉💐🥳 Your voice carries so much light — please keep singing and playing as you do, lifting our spirits and opening hearts. The heavens surely love your sound as much as we do here.

We’re still holding the vision to welcome you — and the whole Wahe Guru family — to New York and the U.S. Though there have been a few twists along the way, the energy and intention behind this project remain strong. I trust that with continued love and grace, it will come to life.

Love you so much, my sister in spirit — wishing you joy, ease, and divine blessings in the year ahead. You are deeply appreciated.
