Ancient Connections: Coincidence or Lost Knowledge?
Throughout history, civilizations across the world have created strikingly similar mythological figures, despite being separated by vast distances and having no known contact. One such example is the depiction of winged, bird-headed beings found in both Mesopotamia and Ecuador, over 8,000 miles apart.
The Mesopotamian carving (on the right) is often linked to the Anunnaki, powerful deities described in Sumerian texts. These figures are shown with wings, elaborate clothing, and a mysterious "bag" in hand—an object seen in many ancient depictions worldwide.
On the left, an artifact from Ecuador portrays a nearly identical bird-headed, winged figure, raising many questions:
How did two distant cultures create such similar depictions?
Is this simply a coincidence, or evidence of lost ancient knowledge?
Could these figures represent real beings that visited multiple civilizations?
While mainstream archaeology attributes such similarities to parallel evolution of religious and artistic ideas, some researchers believe they hint at a forgotten global connection in human history.
What do you think? Coincidence, shared human imagination, or something more?
