We honor the life and legacy of John Sterling—the iconic voice of the New York Yankees whose voice and calls became the soundtrack of generations.

In 2024, he was awarded the Key to the Borough, recognizing not just his legendary career behind the mic, but his deep connection to the Bronx and the fans who called him their own.

“It is high, it is far, it is gone!”, his voice will echo through Yankee Stadium forever.

Rest in peace to a true New York legend. 🕊️
