Ramell-Correen Frederick, known by his childhood nickname, “Cheeks,” is a Queens-born, Brooklyn-based textile artist, denim tailor, and the founder of tattood.cloth. A self-taught artist, Ramell specializes in contemporary textile art done exclusively on his 104-year-old hand-cranked Singer chainstitch embroidery machine, which he affectionately calls “Jessica”.

Join Cheeks and Lacoste at Extra Butter’s LIC location this Saturday for an exclusive customization experience, featuring one-time only chainstitch designs and co-branded patches. All celebrating the classic Lacoste polo shirt, it’s heritage in tennis, and the buzz of tennis in NYC!
