Tonight! We will be screening the film "Cartoonists, Foot Soldiers of Democracy (Carticaturistes, Fantassins de la democratie), a documentary that follows 12 cartoonists who risk their lives to fight for democracy, with a smile on their face and a pencil as their only weapon. These cartoonists- who are based in countries like China, Burkina Faso, Russia, Palestine, Israel, the US and France- face censorship by political leaders who fear the power cartoons wield.

The evening will be moderated by Jeff Danziger. Learn more: These cartoonists- who are based in countries like China, Burkina Faso, Russia, Palestine, Israel, the United States and France- face censorship by political leaders who fear the power cartoons wield.
