Thalía Barrios García is the owner and head cook of Levadura de Olla, a restaurant in Oaxaca known for its traditional cuisine inspired by her hometown, San Mateo Yucutindoo. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star on May 15, 2024, recognizing its high-quality cooking and unique offerings. Last night was a first time experience for me. Star. and and so many dishes prepared with edible flowers.
I ate from my friend’s dishes which were vegetarian. And I really do not have an acquired taste for mole. I think I am a believer now. It may have simply been the first time I had it expertly prepared. The dish awakened my taste buds and left a memory. I had the Celebration mole made with at least 8 ingredients . If you can get a reservation, make sure to go.
