On Sunday we decided to take a little road trip, as the weather was beautiful☀️ After being stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours in Athens🚗, we arrived at our destination.
The Temple of Poseidon🏛️, the ancient, Greek god of the sea🌊. Its located at Cape Sounio, the southernmost tip of Greece, where the sky meets the Aegan Sea. The spectacular view exceeded our expectations to say the least. We waited patiently for the sunset, as it is the best time to visit this place in my opinion. The sky was perfectly clear, and we could just watch the sun taking on a red colour, just before it hid behind the horizon in front of our eyes🌅. Definitely a place to visit again😊.

Tragonisi is a small rocky island, east of Mykonos. The island is uninhabited and you can get there only by private boat. It is a very popular destination for divers, because of its sea caves. Several chambers and tunnels, are making the experience worthwhile. There is also a beautiful, secluded, sandy beach, surrounded by high cliffs.
The area is an exclusive habitat of yellow sea anemone, and if you're lucky, you can spot a monachus seal.

Voidomatis River. Having its source from the Vikos Gorge spotless frozen water springs, gives it an amazing, specific turquoise colour. It is one of the few rivers whose water is so clear, that whoever is thirsty after a walk by its banks, can bend to the river and quench one's thirst. The water temperature is steady all year, at around 4oC, but it is definitely worth the experience of daring a dive only during summer months. There's also a choice of extreme water sports like rafting, canoe, kayak and many more. So don't wait anymore, pack your bag and start exploring🌍

The "Towers" of Astraka peak of Mount Tymphe, Zagori region, Epirus. Impressive 2432 meters high. Beautiful place for everyone, who prefers hiking from chilling on the beach. Magnificent views over Vikos Gorge, which is registered in the Guinnes book as the deepest gorge in the world in proportion to its width. The depth of the gorge reaches 900m, while its most narrow point is only 1,1m.
