Inspiring day at the CUNY Exchange Conference! 🎓✨
Our wonderful Outreach Team, Tas and Tsering—both proud CUNY students—had the opportunity to attend this year’s conference and connect with fellow students, business leaders, and community partners.

A highlight of the day was hearing from our President & CEO, Thomas J. Grech, who delivered an impactful address on putting your best foot forward and staying resilient, no matter how challenging things get.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and share valuable resources with determined business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Our QCC Outreach Coordinator and Outreach Specialist, Vicky and Ariana, joined 82nd Street Partnership for their 2026 Annual Meeting to celebrate the progress over the past year and learn what’s ahead for this vibrant Jackson Heights corridor. 🎊

It was great to connect with community leaders and partners like Council Member Shanel Thomas-Henry, Catalina Cruz NY, and Council Member Shekar Krishnan, and hear about the work underway to strengthen the 82nd Street corridor.

The 82nd Street Partnership shared a strong state of the district, including the introduction of 26 new businesses, increased ethnic diversity among visitors, and a noticeable reduction in illicit activity. These accomplishments embody the continued work of property owners, tenants, city officials, and community leaders — all guided by a dedicated board of directors. 🫶🏼

The Chamber is proud to partner with Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) to support local business growth, strengthen commercial corridors and help improve quality of life in our community!
