Tips for tourists in NYC: #60 – Ladies, take your time with things. Stop and smell the roses. When going through the turnstile, be sure to stop right in front of it, open your purse, take out your wallet, take your Metrocard out, swipe it, walk two feet through the turnstile, stop directly on the other side, open your wallet, put your Metrocard back, open your purse, put your bill fold or wallet back in to the precise pocket, close your purse, look around and ponder as to what train you want to take, start walking towards it and instantly realize that you it’s the wrong direction and stop, turn back and stand in front of the turnstile to be safe, then slowly wander over to the other track. Just like all REAL New Yorkers.
