Starting 📆January 1st, 2024 American passport holders traveling to 30 European countries 🇪🇺 will need authorization via the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS).

✔️ Complete the short online ETIAS form using a computer or device with an internet connection. This takes just a few minutes.

✔️Americans applying for the ETIAS visa waiver must provide basic personal details, including the following:
Name
Date of birth
Place of birth
Gender

✔️ The details of a valid US passport are required, including:
Passport number
Nationality
Issue and expiry dates

✔️ You will also need to provide some contact information, including the following:
Email address
Phone number
Current address

✔️ You must also state which Schengen country you plan to arrive in first and answer some security-related questions about previous travel and criminal convictions (if any).

✔️ During the ETIAS application, you’ll be prompted to pay a small fee to cover the cost of processing. Transactions are handled by secure servers to protect your data.
