Mango Tapioca Cream Dessert by Mia Flavors
🥭 Mango Tapioca Cream Dessert
🛒 Ingredients
2–3 ripe mangoes (Champagne mangoes work best), diced
½ cup small tapioca pearls (sago)
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup all-purpose cream (or heavy cream)
1 cup nata de coco (coconut gel), drained
1–2 cups water (for boiling tapioca)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the tapioca pearls
Bring water to a boil and add tapioca pearls.
Cook for about 10–15 minutes until mostly translucent.
Turn off heat, cover, and let sit for another 10 minutes.
Rinse under cold water and drain.
2. Prep the mango
Peel and dice mangoes into small cubes.
Set some aside for topping.
3. Make the creamy base
In a large bowl, combine:
Evaporated milk
Sweetened condensed milk
All-purpose cream
Mix until smooth and creamy.
4. Combine everything
Add cooked tapioca pearls, diced mango, and nata de coco into the cream mixture.
Gently fold everything together until evenly coated.
5. Chill
Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours (best served cold).
6. Serve
Spoon into glasses or jars and top with extra mango chunks.
✨ Tips
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk.
For extra richness, chill overnight—it thickens beautifully.
You can swap nata de coco for coconut jelly or skip it if you prefer.
