Happy Nurses Week!

The Nigerian Nurses Association of USA proudly celebrated Nurses Week 2026 at the prestigious Marina Del Rey in The Bronx, New York.

The event was warmly hosted by the Founder & Past President, Dr. Grace Ogiehor-Enoma, alongside the current President, Patience Currie, who both shared the organization’s vision, mission, and continued commitment to excellence in healthcare and community service.

The keynote speaker, Bishop Dr. Jonathan Owhe, Chairman/CEO of Newlife Restoration Humanitarian Foundation, inspired attendees with a powerful message of leadership, service, and community impact. He also pledged $1 million toward the center project and helped raise significant donations in support of the initiative.

Representing New York State Senator Steve Rhoads (District 5), Saeed Hassan, Director of Interfaith Outreach, delivered the Senator’s congratulatory message recognizing the association’s outstanding contributions over the years. Citations were presented in honor of the following distinguished healthcare professionals:
