One of the most peaceful experiences we’ve had in NYC. 🤍

We visited clinamen at Park Avenue Armory — a beautiful immersive installation where hundreds of ceramic bowls float across pools of water and create their own sounds as they gently collide.

You can sit down, lie back, close your eyes, meditate… or simply do absolutely nothing and listen.

We went together and absolutely loved it. In the middle of busy NYC, it felt like a little reset.

And if you’ve been wanting to see it — there’s still time!

“I spend so much time showing people around New York… that I forgot what it feels like to be the tourist.”

We just spent five days in Chicago, and for once, I wasn’t planning content for New York, showing someone where to go, or thinking about the best route.

I was the one looking up at the buildings, taking a million videos, trying the famous food, going on the architecture boat tour… and basically doing all the tourist things.

And you know what? I loved it.

It actually reminded me why people get so excited when they come to New York for the first time.

When you live somewhere, you stop noticing the things that make other people say, “Wow.”

So I came back to New York looking at my own city a little differently.

Maybe sometimes… we all need to become tourists again.

🇺🇸 I’m so glad we got to experience this.

This summer, the New York Public Library hosted a special exhibition celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, featuring the Declaration of Independence on loan from Pennsylvania.

There was a long line, news crews covering the event, and something that really surprised me… I thought it would be just one page, but it was actually the entire document on display.

At the end, visitors even received a replica to take home.

The exhibition has already ended, but I’m grateful we had the chance to be there and wanted to share this special memory with you. ❤️

New York is always full of moments like this—you never know what unique event you’ll discover next.

“This is DUMBO, one of Brooklyn’s most iconic neighborhoods. Right here, you’ll find the famous view of the Manhattan Bridge perfectly framed between historic buildings. It’s one of the most photographed spots in New York—and honestly, it never gets old.”

Everyone tells you to visit the Brooklyn Bridge…

But almost no one tells you when.

If you come in the middle of the day, you’ll be sharing the bridge with thousands of people, waiting for photos, and walking through the crowds.

Come at sunrise instead.

The city is quiet.
The skyline glows with the first light.
You can actually hear the birds instead of traffic.
And for a few minutes, it feels like New York belongs only to you.

Yes, waking up early is hard.
But this is one of those experiences you’ll remember long after your trip is over.

✨ My tip:
Arrive about 20–30 minutes before sunrise so you can watch the sky change colors and catch the best light for photos and videos.
