One of my hard rules?

If I'm planning your destination wedding, you're coming to visit before the wedding day.

Not because I want to add another trip to your calendar, but because some things simply can't be decided from a Pinterest board, a floor plan, or a Zoom call.

You need to walk through the venue.

You need to see how the light falls in the late afternoon.

You need to stand in the ceremony space.

You need to taste the food, meet the people, and feel the atmosphere for yourself.

Almost every couple changes something after their site visit. Sometimes it's small details. Sometimes it's a major decision they were convinced they had already made.

I've done weddings with and without a planning trip, and I can tell you from experience, the weddings are always better when couples come and experience it in person.

There are certain things I'm flexible on.

This isn't one of them. 🤍

I’m off to Madrid next week for Emotions Travel Show ✈️🇪🇸

One of my favorite parts of this industry is connecting with hoteliers, tourism boards, and travel professionals from around the world who care deeply about creating meaningful experiences for their guests.

I always leave inspired, full of new ideas, and even more excited about what’s possible for my clients.

I’m bring Tano and Bruno with me to Spain, which feels very special - we’ll be doing a little time pre and post! 🤍

If you’ll be at Emotions and would like to meet up, send me a DM ✨

One of the things I love most about planning trips like this is that they’re rarely about the destination alone.

This father and son travelled through Australia together at a moment in life when time felt especially important to protect. So we designed the itinerary around experiences they could genuinely share. Not rush through.

Harbour views in Sydney. Wildlife in the rainforest. Time with Indigenous guides on Country. A private charter out on the reef.

The kind of trip that becomes part of your family story long after you come home.

These are always some of my favourites to plan.

Especially if you’re standing in a piazza.
Especially if it’s pistachio.
Especially if you’re on your second one of the day.

Real gelato in Italy is completely different from what most people expect.

It’s softer. Less sweet. Made fresh daily. And usually served somewhere you didn’t plan to stop but absolutely should have.

But not all gelato is created equal.

Some places are genuinely incredible. Freshly made each morning, rich in flavour, seasonal, and worth going out of your way for. Others, especially in the more touristy areas, can look much better than they actually taste.

Still good? Sure.
Life changing? Not quite.

One of the things Tano included in his Roman food guide is where to find truly good gelato in Rome, alongside the restaurants and classic dishes we recommend to our own clients before they travel.

Some trips are worth planning properly ✨

The reality is, the best hotels, guides, villas, and experiences in certain destinations are often booked long before people expect.

If the trip really matters - a honeymoon, milestone birthday, safari, family celebration, or once-in-a-lifetime journey - timing is SO important.

These are the destinations I always recommend booking around 12 months in advance 🤍✈️

So much of what we’re drawn to in life looks beautiful from the outside.

A place. A moment. A table set for dinner. A view across the water. A hotel you’ve saved for years.

But what stays with us isn’t the appearance of those things.

It’s how they made us feel when we were there.

Travel is especially like this.

The trips people talk about for the rest of their lives are rarely the busiest or the most photographed.

They’re the ones where something shifted.

Where they slowed down.

Where they felt completely present.

Where they didn’t want the evening to end.

Where they somehow felt lighter.

When I design journeys for my clients, that’s always what I’m thinking about.

Not just where you’re going, but how it’s going to feel once you arrive 🤍✈️

Travelling to Rome this summer? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Tano’s Roman food guide includes the trattories we recommend, the Roman dishes to order, and where to stop for truly good gelato 🇮🇹🍝

There’s something very special about helping someone plan a trip that marks a moment in their life.

The ones that celebrate something. The ones that bring people together. The ones that happen at exactly the right time, even if that timing wasn’t obvious at first.

Over the years I’ve learned that these are the journeys people carry with them long after they come home. They become part of family stories. Part of relationships. Part of how we remember chapters of our lives.

Being trusted with that is something I never take lightly…and it’s truly why I love this work.

The ones people remember forever.

If you’re starting to think about your next trip, I’d love to help you plan something that transcends the ordinary ✈️🤍

Hi guys, a little update from me as I’m finding my feet in this new season of life.

Becoming a mother has changed me in ways I’m still learning to navigate.

It honestly feels like my heart has cracked open in the most beautiful and overwhelming way, and I don’t think anything really prepares you for that shift until you’re inside it.

And if I’m really honest, I couldn’t wait to get back to work.

I missed it.

The creativity, the conversations, the excitement of what’s ahead for my clients, and the feeling of being me again alongside being Bruno’s mom.

At the same time, I miss him desperately when he’s not attached to me.

I didn’t expect that push and pull quite so strongly…

Wanting to step back into work I love, and also wanting to stay wrapped up in him all day. I guess both things can be true.

Balancing motherhood with running a travel and wedding business means my days are different now…

I’m leaning on my team and my support network so much more than before, and I see now why people say it takes a village. It really does.

Bruno has already been to Rome with me, walked through Tuscan wedding venues beside me, and been part of the (not so) quiet behind-the-scenes work that goes into every trip I design.

I feel incredibly lucky to have the support around me right now.

Our nanny has been amazing, and Tano has stepped into fatherhood in the most natural, generous way. He was always meant to be a dad, and watching that unfold has been one of the loveliest parts of this new chapter.

Travel has always been at the center of my life and my work. But now it feels even more personal. More emotional. More meaningful..

It really does feel like my heart has opened up in a completely new way.

Can anyone else relate?

It’s something I mentioned recently in *Forbes*, and it’s a conversation I’ve been having a lot lately.

Because travel today feels incredibly accessible.

You can build an itinerary in ChatGPT. Compare hotels online in minutes. Find restaurants, guides and experiences on Tripadvisor, all before you’ve even booked a flight.

And in many ways, that’s wonderful.

Years ago, everything was gatekept. If you wanted to plan a trip abroad, you really did need a travel agent because flights weren’t visible, hotels weren’t searchable, and very little information was publicly available.

Thankfully, we’ve moved on from that.

But one thing hasn’t changed….

Some of the best experiences in Europe still aren’t designed to be booked online at all. They sit within relationships, introductions, and networks that operate quietly behind the scenes.

A private early-morning visit to the Vatican before the doors open.

A winemaker hosting you personally after hours on their estate in Tuscany.

A villa on Lake Como that isn’t publicly listed anywhere.

A preview appointment of a Dior collection while you’re in Paris.

Meeting the cast backstage after a London theatre performance.

A private viewing inside a museum outside public hours.

These aren’t “hidden” experiences. They’re relationship-based. Many are structured B2B and accessed through trusted introductions rather than search results. Especially in Europe.

Working with a luxury travel advisor means working with someone who spends years building those relationships, visiting properties in person, meeting suppliers season after season, and staying close to the people who actually shape how a trip unfolds once you arrive.

The trips that feel the most seamless, personal and memorable are rarely built from availability alone.

They’re built from access.

And access still comes from knowing who to call. ✨
