During the last 7 years Sarah has visited a remarkable 115 countries on all 7 continents; she has polar plunged in Antarctica, jumped off the world’s highest bungy in Macau, learned to dive in the Maldives, trekked to gorillas in Uganda, sailed the San Blas Islands, chased the Northern Lights in Lapland, and even road tripped through Mongolia. Sarah’s goal is to help ignite the passion for travel in others and to encourage them to visit the many amazing destinations the world has to offer. ✨ Iconic ✨ What’s that one place you’ve always wanted to check off your bucket list?

I’ve known of Horseshoe Bend - and seen photos from it - practically my whole life. Admittedly, I’ve traveled the world, but have barely touched my own backyard 🙈

When the opportunity arose to detour to Horseshoe Bend from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the answer was a resounding YES!

👉 I had expected it to be packed. To nudge through crowds or stand in a long line to get ~ that view ~

I couldn’t have been more wrong!

Honestly, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves … and that was really darn cool 🤩

💡 5FT Tip: Go midday and make sure to pack a big water bottle! While it’s only a 15 minute walk from the parking lot to Horseshoe Bend, there’s no sun cover and it is extremely hot 🔥

It’s me, hi 👋 Today I’m six weeks post-op from unexpected surgery on my cervical spine (ADCF surgery for those wondering).

I finally got to start physical therapy this week, and the speed of my recovery is truly a blessing 🙏 I’m being taught a lesson in patience and resiliency, and grateful for it…

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here. Social media just felt like *a lot* post-surgery, so I’ll slowly be easing back into it and I SO appreciate all of your support and warm messages ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve spent the last six weeks giving my body the rest it needed (which is SO hard for someone like me!) while working behind-the-scenes on UGC content for clients and teeing up next year’s brand partnerships. Here’s to hitting the ground running in Q1 🥳

Also, my neurosurgeon was absolutely incredible and if any of you suffer from nerve pain or spinal issues in the Tri-State area, I couldn’t recommend him more highly! 💡

Who else here loves to SUP? 🙋‍♀️ It’s my favorite summer water activity and inflatable SUPs just launched in the US! 🤩

Our house(warming) wouldn’t be complete without ’ Expedition II 🤲 Simply put, they helped make this big, cold house a cozy home. ad

Mark and I had an…extensive…wish list when it came to buying our first home and needed to figure out how to maximize our energy efficiency. We were beyond excited to find a house that not only had one fireplace, but two! [Let’s be real, your girl isn’t a huge fan of cold New England winters 😂]

Immediately after moving in, we installed two wood burning fireplace inserts from Quadra-Fire - the industry leader in functionality and innovation - as a personal recommendation from my uncle. Do you love this bridge? A lot of people do…that’s why it’s called Lover’s Bridge 😉 This bridge is a perfect example of Taiwan’s juxtaposition between the traditional and the modern. If you stick along long enough, you can catch a pretty sunset over the adjacent Fisherman’s Wharf too! 🌅

Aside from cool architecture, you’ll find a bit of everything in Taiwan…

Sun Moon Lake is one of the most beautiful places I visited in Taiwan, and cannot be missed! ☀️ 🌚 💧

Make your way up the Ci-en Pagoda for the best bird's eye view, and once you’re done, be sure to check out Wen Wu Temple nearby. At the entrance you will find two colossal Chinese guardian lions that are sure to leave an impression! 🤯

We were truly blown away by the beautiful, serene countryside, and absolutely cannot wait to return to .na 😍

Sarah Gallo, age 26, has been traveling the world full-time for the last five years now as The Five Foot Traveler. After graduating early from New York University with high honors, she decided to forgo the traditional corporate job and set off to continue her own personal education by experiencing other cultures and customs outside of her home in the Northeast. Having visited 108 countries across all 7 continents, she's taken her passions for travel and social media, and applied them to create a multiple six-figure online business, allowing her to work remotely around the globe. Sarah hopes to use her positive outlook on life to encourage others to chase their dreams — to take action rather than watching life pass by — and currently coaches them on how start their own lifestyle business.
