Located in the Valley of Queens near Luxor, Egypt, Queen Nefertari’s tomb is a highly sought-after destination, limiting the number of visitors to protect and preserve the interior. The decorative tomb is known for its precious artifacts and beautiful wall paintings with vibrant colors and intricate details, which were reflective of her prominence in society. These inscriptions are believed to be spells and prayers that would help the Queen navigate the afterlife.

The Temple of the Reclining Buddha (also known as “Wat Pho”) in Bangkok, Thailand, is home to a 46-foot-long golden-plated Buddha statue. The statue is believed to weigh nearly 46 tons (over 90,000 pounds). The Buddha’s reclining pose is symbolic of entering a complete spiritual enlightenment .
