It’s not about flexing.
It’s about surviving.
Hindi ito tungkol sa ginhawa,
kundi sa mga gabing umiiyak ka habang nag-iisa,
sa mga araw na pagod ka pero kailangan pumasok,
sa mga pangarap na hindi mo pa mahawakan
pero patuloy mong pinagtatrabahuhan.

People think
ABROAD means mayaman, masaya, madali.
Pero hindi nila nakikita
yung lahat ng bagay na tiniis mo,
yung mga gusto mong bilhin pero hindi mo kaya,
yung lungkot na hindi mo masabi
kasi ayaw mong mag-alala sila.

So no
hindi ito pagmamayabang.
This is just my reality.
A story of sacrifice,
of choosing family over comfort,
of building a future even when the present feels heavy.

At kung may maipagmamalaki man ako…
hindi yung bansang kinaroroonan ko,
kundi yung lakas na meron ako
para magpatuloy kahit ang hirap.
