2. Trinidad & Tobago is currently under a state of emergency, with increased travel caution advised.

3. Some cruise lines (like Royal Caribbean) are skipping certain ports for security concerns.

4. Flight disruptions have happened due to political/military tensions in nearby regions.

5. The U.S. has tightened entry rules for some Caribbean nations.

6. Hurricane season (June-November) can still impact travel plans.

7. Mosquito-borne illnesses like Zika and dengue are present in some areas.
