Jamaica Dump Part 1:

I have truly enjoyed myself while staying Royalton Negril and wouldn’t just come back myself but I’m encouraging everyone to book this welcoming and vibrant all-inclusive resort when they Visit Jamaica.

I want to thank Mexico & Caribbean FamTrips for this amazing opportunity! From being shown the entire resort, getting to experience the staff, their hospitality, and even taking time for myself… I am beyond grateful!



So many places to take beautiful pictures!

There’s so much to experience that two days was not enough lol but I enjoyed the time I had.

Had lunch at Rick's Cafe Jamaica and the food and views were great!

For anyone wondering, no I didn’t jump off of the cliff, maybe next time lol

I'm going to say this now while there's still time to lock in good rates.

Fall and winter Caribbean trips are already getting booked up. I'm seeing it on my end — resort availability from October through February is going fast, especially the good rooms. And flight prices? They're lowest when you book 6-8 weeks out. Wait too long and you're paying a premium for the leftover inventory.

If you've been thinking about a Caribbean trip — whether it's a fall getaway, a Thanksgiving escape, or a February break from the cold — don't wait until October to start planning. By then, the best options are gone.

Booking an all-inclusive seems simple — until you realize "all-inclusive" doesn't always mean ALL inclusive.

I've seen clients get hit with surprise charges for WiFi, premium restaurants, certain pool areas, and even bottled water. The photos look amazing online, but they don't tell you what's actually included in your package.

Before you book any Caribbean all-inclusive, run through this checklist:

1️⃣ What's actually included? Get the full list — not just what the website highlights. Some include water sports and premium liquor. Others nickel-and-dime you for everything.

2️⃣ Is it the right vibe for YOU? Party resort or quiet escape? Adults-only or family-friendly? The wrong vibe can ruin an otherwise great trip. Read recent reviews from people who share your travel style.

3️⃣ How far is it from the airport? A 90-minute transfer each way eats into your vacation. Look for resorts within 30-45 minutes unless the remote location is the whole point.

4️⃣ Is the beach actually swimmable? Some resorts have gorgeous beaches with rough currents. If swimming matters to you, check the specific beach conditions — not just the photos.

5️⃣ Should you book it yourself or work with an advisor? (Spoiler: I can match you to the RIGHT resort, get you perks you won't find online, and handle every detail. But I'm biased. 😄)

Real talk: most people never book their Caribbean trip because they convince themselves it's too expensive, too complicated, or too far away.

But usually? It's none of those things.

You've seen Curaçao. Now let me introduce you to its ABC islands neighbor. 🌴

Aruba is the Caribbean's best-kept plot twist. One side of the island looks like a desert — cactus-studded landscapes and divi-divi trees permanently bending in the trade winds like they're posing for postcards. The other side? Some of the whitest, softest sand beaches you'll ever set foot on.

Eagle Beach. Palm Beach. The Ayo Rock Formations that genuinely look like another planet. And the California Lighthouse at sunset — if you only do one thing in Aruba, do that.

But here's what makes Aruba especially smart right now: it sits OUTSIDE the hurricane belt. While other Caribbean islands are entering peak storm season in August and September, Aruba stays sunny and dry year-round. So if you've been putting off a Caribbean trip because of weather worries, this is the island that takes that excuse off the table.

There's a lot of Caribbean travel advice floating around that's just... wrong. Here are 3 myths I hear from clients all the time:

❌ MYTH: You need a passport for Puerto Rico. ✅ REALITY: Puerto Rico is a US territory — US citizens don't need one. Pack your bags and go.

❌ MYTH: All-inclusive is always the cheapest option. ✅ REALITY: Not necessarily. If you love exploring local food and getting off the resort, a la carte can save you $500+. It depends on what you actually want to do.

❌ MYTH: Hurricane season means don't go. ✅ REALITY: Hurricane season (June–November) often means lower prices, fewer crowds, and some of the best deals of the year. Just insure your trip and stay flexible.
