🚂 There’s something special about waking up on the Auto Train! Watching the sunrise, seeing little towns and landscapes roll by, and knowing you’re getting closer to your destination. 🌅

Before you know it, you’re pulling into the station, and it’s time for the unloading process. Cars are carefully brought off the train, one by one, and just like that, your road trip continues!

No long drive down I-95, no putting miles on your car, and a whole different kind of travel experience along the way!

🚂🍽️ What can you EAT on the Amtrak Auto Train?! 👀 Let’s talk dining options!

🥩 Traveling in a private room? Enjoy complimentary traditional dining, including dinner and a hot breakfast! Dinner features entrée options such as flat iron steak, pan-roasted chicken, Atlantic salmon, and pasta primavera. Don’t forget dessert! 🍰

🍔 Riding Coach? Head to the Cross-Country Café to purchase food, snacks, and drinks. Options can include cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs, stromboli, chips, candy, and more! Plus, a complimentary continental breakfast is served before arrival. ☕🥐

🥂 Private-room guests also get a complimentary alcoholic beverage with dinner. Cheers to skipping the highway traffic and enjoying a meal on the rails! 🛤️

🚗🚆 Have you ever taken Amtrak’s Auto Train?

I just experienced the process of taking my car along for the ride, and I thought I’d share a little about how it works!

The Auto Train runs between Sanford, Florida, and Lorton, Virginia, allowing you to travel with your vehicle instead of driving the entire distance. It’s especially handy if you’re heading to or coming from a Disney vacation! 🏰

Here’s how the vehicle process works:

🚘 Checking in: You arrive at the station during your assigned check-in window. The staff checks your vehicle in and makes sure everything is ready for loading. Be sure to follow the cutoff time because they are strict about it!

📸 Documenting your car: Before handing it over, you’ll want to remove valuables and take pictures of your vehicle, just in case you need them later.

🚙 Loading: You follow the staff’s directions, and your vehicle is checked in for transport. The Auto Train crew loads the vehicles onto special rail cars, and you head to the passenger terminal to board the train yourself.

Even the TREE gets in on the fun aboard Disney ships! 😂 I love how Disney adds those little details that make the experience special, and Solara is definitely one to look for during Halloween on the High Seas! 🚢🖤

✨ WizardCon 2026! ✨

What a great few days in Orlando at our travel agency’s annual conference! Between collaborating with fellow agents, learning from vendor presentations, and touring a Disney cruise ship, there’s been so much to take in.

One of my favorite parts is being surrounded by a group of people who share the same passion for travel and are always eager to learn, grow, and share ideas. The energy is contagious, and I’m coming home inspired with new knowledge and ideas to help my clients plan their next adventures! 🛳️🌎✨
