🚨 HISTORY COMES TO LIFE 🚨
In June 1865, the “Orange Blossoms” — Newburgh’s own 124th Infantry Regiment — returned home after three harrowing years fighting to save the Union and end slavery. They landed at Newburgh’s pier and marched up to Washington’s Headquarters, where crowds welcomed them as heroes.

📅 This June 14, join the Newburgh Historical Society as we commemorate the 160th anniversary of the end of the Civil War with a special cruise aboard the Pride of the Hudson alongside Orange Blossoms reenactors.

🛳️ Cruise: 12:30–1:30 PM (Boarding at 12 PM)
📍 Reenactment: 2–4 PM @ Washington’s Headquarters
