Contest! Celebrate America 250 in Middlefield!
The Village of Middlefield invites residents and businesses to join the America 250 Decorating Celebration as we honor our nation’s 250th birthday. Decorate your home, storefront, business, restaurant, office, or neighborhood with patriotic pride and help make Middlefield shine red, white, and blue!
Participants can enter to win awards in a variety of residential and business categories, including Best Front Porch, Best Lighting Display, Best Storefront Display, Best Window Display, and more. Official “Proud Participant – America 250 – Middlefield, Ohio” yard signs and entry forms are available at the Village of Middlefield offices.
Judging will take place during the week of July 4, with winners receiving official award signs and recognition through Village social media, the Village website, and local media.
Let’s show everyone why Middlefield is a community where patriotism grows strong!

JUNE 12–14 — The Middlefield Swiss Cheese Festival is looking for additional volunteers to help during festival weekend.

Organizers are asking community members, businesses, churches, students, and local organizations to consider helping where they can. It takes a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to bring an event like this together, and even volunteering a few hours can make a real difference.

This is a great opportunity to support the community and help make the return of the festival a success.
