Destination Geauga Member Spotlight: Camp Hi Canoe & Kayak
There’s a lot of history flowing along the Cuyahoga River at Camp Hi Canoe & Kayak in Hiram!
Kendra Hazlett-Becker and her husband, David, take us on a tour of this family business, where generations have helped people slow down, get outdoors and experience an “Adventure in Your Own Backyard.”
The Camp Hi property has been in Kendra’s family since 1928, and what began with six canoes, a trailer and an old limousine used as a shuttle has grown into a livery with more than 300 canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.
Come along as we visit this Destination Geauga member and discover a great way to experience the beauty of the Cuyahoga River right here in Northeast Ohio.

Ashley Hughey takes us on a tour of member Sheoga Hardwood Flooring in Middlefield, where skilled local craftspeople transform responsibly sourced American hardwoods into beautiful flooring.
Family-owned and operated for more than 40 years, Sheoga manufactures solid and engineered hardwood flooring in numerous species, grades, widths and finishes. Options include unfinished, prefinished, smooth and textured flooring, along with herringbone, chevron and custom designs.
