ed evening of relaxation, good food, and music to raise money for the Claudia Adams Bar program. We are very proud of the fact that we have donated over $350,000 to cancer research. These monies are specifically designed to keep young scientists researching a cure for cancer at the Dana-Farber Cancer institute. They're making incredible strides toward this end and we have been a part of this success. We started the Cruise for a Cure, now The Cruise, in honor of all the wonderful, devoted people who cared for my daughter Erica 33 years ago. Thankfully, she's been cured for 28 years and today she is a healthy 45-year-old. A wonderful reason to keep celebrating! Each year we are all affected as loved ones battle cancer. We continue to help in this battle and the only way we can... Research! So please join us and personally honor whoever is dear to you and has battled or is battling this horrible disease. The cruise raises money in four different ways. One: Ticket Sales: $75 each
Two: Silent Auction Items: artwork, vacation get-a-ways, services and gift certificates are wonderful. Three: Sponsors Bronze $100 plus one ticket
Silver $250 plus two tickets
Gold $500 plus four tickets
Platinum $1,000 plus eight tickets. Four: Special donations in honor or in memory of someone. We invite you to participate in any of or all of these categories. We will launch from the boardwalk at Newburyport waterfront Park at 6:30 and return at 9:30 p.m. we will be cruising on the captain's lady. 3. This year we will be entertained by versatile local musicians. Dinner will be provided by area merchants and cooked on open grills.
