For the 2025 Tuna season, adding a few things ,Winthrop Tackle Terminator T-10X Adjusta-Butt on the Trident Rod .
Tunalicious ballon sliders on the line , and swim release hook from Real Easy for oversized Recreational or undersized Commercial fish to be revived before releasing.
I'm hoping the Gaints start making it up here for my favorite time of the year .

One of those days on the water that you cherish had the pleasure to take out a family that had never been salt water fishing before .
Watched them to catch their first saltwater fish ( and number #20 also )
And getting the chance to see our bay and harbor through someone else's eyes .
Don't know if the captain or the kids were having more fun.

Thought we were supposed to have wind gusts of 25 knots today , so did some of the 2024 tuna tails . So far, I'm happy with the Krylon Color Morph paint.

Piscataqua is loaded with bait . Today's scouting for charter had only schoolie sized fish .... but the big ones we were finding in a different location..... ( can't show pictures protect the spot )

Fishing report 7/5/2925
Great day at sea today . Started out with a bang with bait not only at 2kr but in the Piscataqua also .
With all on the menu, it was hard to tempt them away .
When the high side slack hit, it turned off like a light switch
Had to work for the schoolie sized fish , and Po***ck replaced the Macs .
Several drifts and on tide change hit some slot sized fish .
Tight lines and best of luck to everyone .

Fish report for Sunday, June 29 . Foggy start to day kept a lot of river traffic down . There are lots of active fish , but all kinds of bait and birds in the Piscataqua.
Macs , Po***ck, and these small brown fish ( not gonna try to name them ) .
Macs were there and then moved on, so I loaded up when I got the chance .
Striped bass from schoolies to over slot in all the normal spots , but allot of bait to compete with.

Foggy start to day, more work than usual to get live bait.... but next problem was trying to make it through the oversized to find a 'slot' fish for dinner, because who doesn't love a good challenge, but another great day at sea.

Hope everyone is enjoying this break in the weather, and Happy Father's Day .
I would be remiss if I didn't tip the cap to the original Captain Bob .
I've taken the next three Saturdays off from my full time job so will be available Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday next 3 weeks if you want to treat yourself or your Dad for a chance to take a tour or chase the large striped bass on our coastline .
