Cocke County Fairgrounds for the annual ERA Day and Preparedness Event.
This is a free event.
Come meet your Emergency Responders and see the gear and equipment we use to preserve Life, Property, and Agriculture.
Vendors will be on hand giving away items that will assist in your family’s preparedness plan.
From 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
Handicap parking inside the gate.

🌟THRIVING THURSDAY: Harley Timmons🌟

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Harley Timmons, a Newport native who truly believes that faith is meant to be lived out through serving others ❤

Harley's strong faith is at the heart of everything he does. As a devoted husband and proud father of four, he understands the importance of leading by example and pouring into the people around him.

Through his work with Renovatus, Harley continues to be a part of bringing hope, restoration, and positive change to our community. Renovatus is a faith-based recovery program that seeks to restore men from substance abuse to Christ centered living.

He continues to serve in his role with Crossroads Community Church, where he acts as the Assistant Pastor. His compassion and commitment reflect the heart of Crossroads and their mission to meet people where they are and help them to move forward.

He also invested in his community by completing the Leadership Cocke County class of 2024, gaining an even deeper understanding of the people and places that make Cocke County home.

For Harley, faith isn't just something you talk about on Sunday, it's something you carry with you every day. His willingness to serve, encourage, and invest in others is a beautiful example of faith in action ❤🙏

We're thankful to have people like Harley helping our community grow, thrive, and come together!

29 years ago, Tim Dockery had an idea: create a safe, fun place for kids in our community to enjoy Halloween that is an alternative to door-to-door trick or treating...

That idea became **Trick or Treat at the Track**, and this year, we’re proud to carry one of Tim’s favorite traditions forward for its **29th year.** 🎃🧡

Now, we need YOU to help us make it happen!

Vendor registration is officially OPEN for businesses, churches, organizations and individuals who would like to set up and hand out candy at this year’s Trick or Treat at the Track.

Whether you go all-out with a themed booth or simply bring a chair and a bucket of candy, we’d love to have you be part of a tradition that has brought our community together for nearly three decades. Let's make this the most successful year yet!
