Two years ago I was a bride planning my wedding and honeymoon and frustrated....mainly with the honeymoon planning part. Then I worked with a travel agent who really frustrated me because she didn't listen to what I wanted or what type of honeymoon fit us. The experience inspired me and here I am a few years later planning honeymoons for other couples just like myself. I pride myself in listening

A honeymoon is a once in a lifetime vacation that is not only a well needed break after the wedding but is also such a great experience for couples to spend alone time just enjoying each others' company. I recommend that ALL couples go on a honeymoon, even if that means camping in a tent in the woods. JUST GO!!!! Since it's Travel Agent Day I thought I share a little of what I do. The role of a travel agent has changed so much over the years and many clients who work with me aren't sure what the benefits are. I handle every little detail of your trip from start to finish. The airfare, helping you select a resort, activities, dining and any special activities or arrangements you may want. Sure you can google resorts yourself but do you know what part of the resort to be in because you want a certain view or a location close to the pool? I can tell you which excursion best fits your needs and why. You won't show up to double beds on your honeymoon or expecting a gorgeous beach and end up with a rocky beach because I have the inside knowledge of the destinations I sell. I also have a great group of travel agent friends and we are constantly sharing information and pictures which keeps me up to date as well. On top of that I have a great relationship with the staff at the resorts I sell and they are expecting you when you arrive! While you're traveling you contact me 24/7 on my cell phone...no hold times and no automated systems. You can call, text or email me directly! If you're looking for a truly unique experience, a once in a lifetime trip or just a great vacation you will never find that on the internet. You will find that by using a travel agent!

A big thank you to all of the veterans out there for your service. We live in the land of the free because of the brave. My Dad, both of my Grandpas and my Father in law are some of my favorite veterans. As well as my cousin who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan to protect his country. God Bless you all! There is no way to thank you enough for all you have done for us!

Clients flying out of San Francisco this morning are finally on their way with only a 2 hour delay, clients connecting in SFO yesterday are almost home and another will be landing in Maui shortly....crazy weekend of flight delays but happy that all are on their way and I can relax:) And prayers for all of those on Asiana 214 and their families:(
