June 6, 1944.
More than 150,000 Allied troops crossed the English Channel and landed on the beaches of Normandy in one of the most important military operations in history.
D-Day was a day of extraordinary courage, sacrifice, planning, and determination. Thousands of service members faced unimaginable challenges in pursuit of freedom, knowing the risks but moving forward anyway.
Today, we pause to remember those who served, those who gave their lives, and those whose actions helped shape the world we live in today.
Their legacy reminds us that duty, commitment, and service to others are values worth honoring every day.
We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
