A little delayed in posting, but our Sweet Autumn Clematis put on a spectacular show a few weeks ago! One of my favs, especially when everything else is fading away!

Our Japanese Toad Lily is blooming! A little late but I think it just likes to be sure it's the only showpiece on the garden!!!

What a surprise this morning when we woke up to a yard full of snow in the middle of April! Beautiful of course, but hoping it doesn't damage all the buds that have started to appear on everything. Only time will tell!

The Kwanso Daylilies are out! They're an incredible triple orange blossom with such incredible detail!

I don't normally like blue in nature as it feels unnatural. But these hydrangea have gone crazy this year and they're as full as could be. After last year's lack of blooms on any hydrangeas in the area, it's nice to see!

Spring time at Heron Point! Love this time of year :-) The blooms are short-lived, but there's so much happening each week.

September means our colorful gardens are slowly fading, but there are some spectacular show-stoppers that come out this time of year!
The one stealing the spotlight again??? The Sweet Autumn Clematis climbing up the balcony. It's tiny white flowers create a waterfall of softness that's unlike anything else we have here at Heron Point!

Our 'Black' Roses are still going strong, and the Japanese Anemone's show their purple faces to keep the bees busy.

Even the Wild Garlic yield a beautiful surprise this time of year with poofs of white that appear (but keep them out of garden areas, they're incredibly invasive!)

And don't forget the FIGS!!! White Figs, Black Figs, they're all ready to eat! :-)
