✨ This was my very first cruise ever as a travel advisor... and by the end of the sailing, I was already planning my next one. ⛴️🩷
I specialize in Disney vacations but I had never sailed before… for a few reasons. I was afraid of the “common” things most people think that have never sailed.
Germs, getting sea sick, being out in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight (that’s more of a type A control thing).
Here’s my story… I was given the opportunity from Disney to attend a training onboard the Disney Wish!
How could I say no! There was one catch, I had to go by myself. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and did it!
I sailed on the Disney Wish by myself in March of this year. It was Amazing! Seriously every everything was perfect!
Disney makes the entire process so easy from the time you leave your Disney resort to getting on their transportation to take you to the port, checking in at the port and embarking on the ship.
This trip was filled with lots of first for me.
The ship was so clean. Having to wash your hands before going into the buffet, hand wipes before entering all the restaurants.
I had a deluxe ocean view stateroom with verandah. It was spacious and the verandah was great! Being on the verandah watching the sunset 🌅 with no land in sight was actually amazing! I never dreamed I would love it as much as I did!
I was midship, deck 6 and never felt sea sick at all.
I took advantage of the spa and the rainforest room. This was a game changer. It was the perfect addition to make this a truly relaxing experience.
I have always sold vacations. I knew the processes and procedures. I have toured the ships to gain the knowledge for my clients.
🩷Now I have sailed and can speak to the feelings.
Disney Cruise Line is all about the feelings, the immersive experiences and the storytelling.
I am sharing my story with you! When you step out of your comfort zone….beautiful and amazing things happen.
If you have any of the feelings I had before I sailed, share them with me and together we can create the experiences for your story.
