Let’s get real about exercise 😅
The truth is when I talk to busy women, they know that regular exercise is important part of feeling fit, vibrant and confident. BUT finding time to exercise with a to-do list a mile long well that’s another story.
So, let’s change that.
Here are 3 things you can do right now so daily exercise is not on your should-do but your must-do list.
1️⃣ When your daily routine is consistently changing, it’s very easy for your desire to exercise to take a back step. No matter how busy your lifestyle is, you must have your workout firmly scheduled on your calendar. Just like an important business meeting…this is a meeting is commitment with yourself!
Let everyone know that this is a non-negotiable time. This is one area I help all my clients with and it’s a game changer.
2️⃣ Skip the gym and workout at home or if you love to walk or run then go out your front door and use your neighborhood. Don’t get me wrong, when traveling, I am the first one to sign up for a bootcamp, SoulCycle or Barre3 studio class to change things up.
But our brains are hard wired to take the path of least resistance, the low hanging fruit. So work with your brain and make your daily workout an easy yes!
3️⃣ For busy women, it's best to plan workouts in the morning whenever possible. Mornings tends to be the time of day you have the least distractions and time to enjoy your workouts. Then you can focus on whatever comes about during your busy day.
You won’t get to the end of your day and struggle with a decision about whether you have the time or desire to work out.
These are just 3 changes, but there are more.
