I finally checked beignets off my New Orleans bucket list. 🍩

I stopped by Café Beignet and decided to order the Beignet Trio because I couldn’t pick just one.

The chocolate and caramel were definitely the winners for me. The classic beignet covered in powdered sugar? Believe it or not… I never even ate that one. 😂

I can definitely see why beignets are such a New Orleans staple, and Café Beignet was a fun stop while exploring the city.

Still reflecting on my experience at InteleTravel Xcelerator! ❤️✈️

When I arrived on Saturday, I honestly didn’t know what to expect.

I knew I was attending a travel conference, but I had no idea how much I would learn, who I would meet, or how inspired I would leave.

Over the past few days, I had the opportunity to learn from incredible speakers, connect with fellow travel advisors from across the country, and meet some of the industry’s leading travel partners. Every session reinforced that the best travel advisors never stop learning.

One of my biggest takeaways was realizing just how many opportunities there are to continue growing in this industry. Seeing brands like Viking, Allianz Partners, and Travel Leaders Network reminded me why I’m so excited about building my business and continuing to move toward specializing in luxury travel.

I’m grateful for every conversation, every lesson, and every new connection.

Now it’s time to take everything I learned and put it into action for my clients.

The conference may be over, but I have a feeling this is just the beginning. ❤️🌎

❤️ Day 2 | InteleTravel Xcelerator Conference

This morning, we started the day with a non-denominational service centered on Genesis 37–50, the story of Joseph.

Joseph’s journey wasn’t easy. He experienced rejection, betrayal, slavery, false accusations, and imprisonment. Yet through every hardship, God remained faithful and continued to work out His purpose.

One takeaway Bethany shared that really resonated with me was:

“Just because others don’t believe in your dream doesn’t mean God didn’t give it to you.”

While those are Bethany’s words not a quote from Scripture they beautifully reflect Joseph’s story. His brothers rejected the dreams he shared, but they couldn’t stop God’s plan for his life. Years later, Joseph said:

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
Genesis 50:20 (NIV)

As a business owner, this message was a reminder to stay faithful, keep learning, and continue serving with purpose even when the journey isn’t always easy.

Now it’s time for another full day of learning at Xcelerator! Every session is an opportunity to grow so I can better serve my travel clients and help them create unforgettable memories around the world.

💛❤️💚💙 What’s your color?

One of today’s exercises at the InteleTravel Xcelerator Conference was taking a Color Personality Assessment.

The idea is simple: we all communicate, make decisions, and build relationships differently. Understanding those differences can help us become better listeners, better communicators, and better at serving others.

The four personality styles were:

💛 Yellow – Caring, creative, loyal, and relationship-driven.
❤️ Red – Driven, competitive, decisive, and results-focused.
💚 Green – Analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and logical.
💙 Blue – Outgoing, energetic, optimistic, and people-oriented.

The biggest takeaway for me was that there isn’t a “best” personality color. Each one brings different strengths, and learning to recognize those differences helps us connect with people more effectively.

I’m looking forward to learning even more this weekend!

✈️ Ready to learn, grow, and better serve my travel clients!

I’m excited to be spending the weekend at the 2026 InteleTravel Xcelerator Event here in Indianapolis!

One thing I’ve learned as a travel advisor is that the travel industry is constantly changing. New destinations, supplier updates, exclusive promotions, and better ways to create unforgettable vacations are always evolving. That’s why I believe investing in education is one of the best ways I can serve my clients.

A day full of laughs, roller coasters, character meet-and-greets, and making memories with my favorite person. ❤️🎢

Sometimes the best days aren’t about checking everything off the list they’re about slowing down, laughing together, and enjoying every moment.

So far, Kentucky Kingdom has given us exactly that. 💙 The day isn’t over yet, and we’re looking forward to seeing what other adventures are waiting for us!
