Interesting bnb cleaning today… fire next street over + crazy Oklahoma winds + drought = huge house fire and evacuating the area.
After the fire was extinguished, we got back to the bnb and finished at 3:59pm. Just in time for our next guests to check-in.
And no one was injured in the fire which is always good news. 😁

I have a lot of interesting bnb cleaning stories. This job definitely keeps us on our toes.

I think we need a short term rental cleaner appreciation day. 😅

Real review from a guest last March. She was so gracious, our hot water heater had to be replaced last minute, on a same day check-out/check-in. I got the issue sorted out as quickly as humanly possible.

Our vendor was great and worked with me to be as fast as possible. All of the vendors on our preferred list know how important it is to get repairs done ASAP for these homes since they can be booked in a flash.

However, the plumber didn't realize we were going to need a smaller sized hot water heater due to the available space to get it in and out of the narrow door way, so he had to go back and return the one he bought and get the other one.... long story short, it ended up taking til nearly 8pm.
These guests were exhausted from a day full of travel and just wanted to shower and get their youngest to bed. He finished up, the guests got to wash up and get their youngest to bed. Then they had some super yummy Insomnia cookies and milk delivered to them to say thanks for sticking it out with us. Their older kiddos loved them, and it ended up being a great stay.🤩
