Beautiful cloud structure over Lake Hefner north of OKC earlier this evening as the front made its way south.

I'll be releasing part two of this video soon after, in which we'll compare/contrast the May 18 event with the infamous May 4, 2007 event (the video was getting too long, so I split it into two parts).

A legend in severe weather news media broadcasting has passed away.

There will only ever be one Gary England - an Oklahoman through and through. He was one of a kind and the impact he had on our state, meteorology and severe weather prediction and tracking will be felt for years and years to come.

I was fortunate to work with Gary and see first-hand how much he cared about keeping Oklahomans safe. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

My condolences go out to his family and may he rest in peace.
