I am sure you have seen the increasing reports about the spread of the COVID-19 or Coronavirus. We want to assure you that the health and well-being of our teammates and our customers is on the top our minds, as we carefully monitor the situation.
Recommendations from the CDC and World Health Organization:
STAY HOME IF YOU’RE SICK – Your safety is our #1 priority.
All teammates who have symptoms of acute respiratory illness should not come to work if they have fever, signs of a fever or other symptoms for at least 24 hours. Teammates need to notify their supervisors and stay home if sick.
ENHANCED HYGIENE – Take preventative measures.
The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to the flu with fever, coughing and shortness of breath. It appears to mainly be spread through close person-to-person contact. It may be possible for someone to touch a surface or object with the virus on it and then touch their nose or mouth and become infected, but this is not the main way the virus spreads, according to CDC and other health experts. In addition to all the normal things you do to stay healthy, the preventive measures are the same as for the flu or other viruses, according to CDC:
· Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
· Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available
· Avoid close contact with other people
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
· Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue
REGULAR CLEANING – Disinfect your areas throughout the day.
Frequently touched surfaces should be regularly cleaned. Areas such as doorknobs, tabletops, counters, phones, keyboards and fixtures should be disinfected several times throughout the day.
STAY INFORMED – Information is changing frequently.

In addition, here is some Hajoca-specific guidance:
MAKE DECISIONS BEST FOR YOU – your family, and the business.
If you’re not sure about a meeting or situation, let your instincts guide you. You know what’s best for you, your family and the business. Your bias should always be the safety of you and your family.
SELF-QUARANTINE – Proactive measure may make sense.
If you find yourself in a questionable situation, take control as best you can. Immediately communicate to your manager any issues, concerns or questions.
Be safe and be well.
