Teachers and Homeschoolers:

We unfortunately will not be able to host school days in October 2025 and March 2026 because the repairs to the park buildings will not be complete. We look forward to seeing you next Fall. If you haven't taken our online tour, the link is on our homepage. It's not as exciting as a school day but kids can learn about the park and 19th century history. If you are interested in having a quiz about the content in the tour, comment on this post.

Our Next Public Event is... Colonial Times: A Day to Remember October 19: 10 am - 5 pm October 20: 10 am - 4 pm Due to the storm damage, please check back here on our page for event updates. Read More Bringing History to Life Welcome to Willow Springs! THE LIVING HISTORY PARK

Celebrate the 4th of July on the 4th of July from 10am-2pm.

We're excited to have visitors back to the park. We are still recovering from the storm damage but we're looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July. Our celebration includes a reading from the Declaration of Independence by the Mayor of North Augusta. We encourage visitors to show their patriotic spirit by dressing up. You are welcome to bring your patriotic pet as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash.

We have some good news. Father Christmas will be at the park on November 30th from 10 am - 2 pm. He will be in the Norwood house which is at the entrance to the park. We will be making ornaments for the park birds. They are very confused with all the trees gone. We know the park won't be ready for visitors but you can take pictures with Father Christmas and make treats for the birds.

I don't have pictures of everything. The red barn has damage to the roof. The ordinary which is where they usually serve food for events is completely gone. You can see the sweet shoppe and the cabinet shoppe were damaged. The little building outside the sweet shoppe that covered a transformer is gone. They are hoping to find the wood from the fences that were destroyed to reuse it.

We hope to repair the damage quickly so it is safe for visitors. Please consider donating to help get the park back open...
