Spring skiing in full effect upstate for Spring Break. Whiteface was beautiful as was Lake Placid with plenty to do and see. Just over one hour from North Creek also makes this a doable combo trip along with Gore in one weekend.

Finally made it to during the busy holiday weekend. Despite larger than expected crowds, we found many trails to ourselves. The conditions were fantastic and the weather could not be beat. We will definitely be back for a day trip or a stop over on the way home from Gore.

Near peak colors seen from the peak of Gore Mountain. Next time we may bike down the 2 minute descent instead of taking the gondola back to the base.
