Today is the day! Blackbeard's in North Fort Myers at Marinatown(Pull in, Hook a Right!) for The Brian Carter Benefit! I don't know how many benefits Brian has played with me over the last 10 years. I do know whenever I asked if he wouldn't mind playing for free, if available, he ALWAYS said yes. Then he would proceed to work his ass off that day, making sure the sound was great, the musicians had whatever they needed and then would play and blow the doors off of the room.
It is payback time. My brother needs all the help he can get right now. Brian is battling Stage 4 Neck and Lung cancer, while still performing to make ends meet. Today's Poker Run will end at Blackbeard's Tavern and that's when we go to work. The following folks have volunteered their time and talent to make sure today's event for a beautiful soul will be a success! Kindly come on out and join us!

BIG 80s concert tour this summer! The Fixx, The Cure, The Cause and The Symptom are all touring together! The only downside is that Merck Pharmaceutical is the sponsor. They are promoting the HELL out of The Cause and The Symptom! Very little promotion for The Fixx and The Cure, however. It's just baffling...

Tipsy Pines is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a gaggle of Nigerian Dwarf Goat babies! Based on the size of the mamas, we are thinking twins!!!! More to come

Well folks, I haven't been posting here very much lately. The farm is coming along. I have spent as much of the last 7 months clearing ground. The weather has been very dry, so everything got a chance to dry out, and lots of work is getting done. Preparing pastures for a friend's horses to enjoy while he moves and builds. The chicken flock has been decimated by predators. We are probably at half the birds we had 4 months ago. I am trying to build that back up. Goats and sheep are doing great! We are building an aviary for the peacocks to grow up in and for the quail to enjoy. Lots of bonfires burning to get rid of all of the debris that we have been clearing! Hope you all are well and to see everyone out at Tipsy Pines!
