We have made the very difficult decision to sell our cabin in New Hampshire. There's no 2 ways about it: we are sad. Our lives here in NJ have changed so dramatically since Chris had the accident, that this sale is an unfortunate necessity.
We have been blessed with this cabin for the 17 years we've had it, building it from scratch and choosing every detail in it's design and decor - it was truly a dream come true in one of our favorite places. We've hosted hundreds of renters over the years - many of whom became returning guests, year after year. We became "Superhosts" on Airbnb, and gained a following on Facebook. And we've been further blessed to receive a buyer who wasted no time making an offer. While the cabin is technically under contract by New Hampshire MLS rules, we are still able to collect back up offers from other buyers. We are also happy that the current buyers plan to continue to rent the cabin to guests after we turn it over to them. I'll be personally assisting them with the transfer of everything, so our previous guests can continue to visit the cabin. This isn't a "goodbye" to NH, either... more like a "see you later."
