The unsung, very humble hero of this trip... the old Carnival Liberty. This is the oldest, roughest, tired-est ship I've ever sailed in my life...she definitely needs a facelift!! But we still managed to have an incredible time this week, eating such delicious food, getting amazing service, spending hours in the adults-only Serenity Deck relaxing, experiencing amazing port cities, and having the time of our lives!! She got the job done!?! The Liberty goes into dry dock this May for a big fat reno...and we're so happy and excited for her!!! ✨️🤣🙌🤩🛳😎🗽✨️

Welcome to Jamaica!! Home to Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, amazing all-inclusives, over-water bungalows, Dunns River Falls, Reggae music, Bob Marley, Jamaican jerk chicken, the NICEST people, and Mystic Mountain... where we spent our day!

We looooved playing our way through Mystic Mountain...ragga ride, bobsled ride/slide, zip lining, and the most gorgeous skyride/lift!! The staff was amazing and made our time here so fun. We're ready to bring our kids back here, asap!! 10/10. 🇯🇲🌴👌🙌🤩🇯🇲

Supplier tradeshow in SLC this week! I talked with and was so inspired by soooo many amazing suppliers, and got to meet up with some of my fellow Utah Travel Agent besties!! Because Hurricane Milton was making landfall the exact day we were supposed to get off our ship, all the Florida ports closed, and we got an extra glorious day on the cruise ship...at no extra charge!?! While we held our breath and sent Florida all our best thoughts and prayers, we enjoyed an extremely calm day at sea and a welcomed day of relaxation to catch our breath and actually enjoy our gorgeous cruise ship, after 6 nonstop days of nonstop training, networking, touring, working, and go-go-go!! What a week!?! So grateful to work with many amazing professionals in this awesome travel industry!! I ❤️ my job!!

Because of Hurricane Milton, our cruise ship easily rerouted to the Dominican Republic instead of continuing towards Cozumel, Mexico, and the location of the hurricane. As far as hurricane proof vacations, a cruise vacation that can easily move locations seems like a solid idea, right!? 🙌👌 And we looooved visiting the DR and exploring the amazing Damajagua Waterfalls Park!! Pro Group Travel Tip: If you plan it, they will come!

I planned this very casual, long weekend getaway to Colorado back in early summer, and no one else could come. But once I was committed to coming, stars aligned, and others hopped on the party train, albeit very last minute!? It was such a fun little family reunion with my family, and our Uncle Jim and Aunt Jeanie, who got many more guests than they bargained for!? 😬🤷‍♀️

Welcome to Frisco, Colorado! The perfect home base for central access to alllll the top Colorado resorts, like Vail, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Keystone! This area is most popular for skiing in the winter, but it is an absolute mecca for biking, hiking, and boating in the summer!! This is one of my favorite places on earth, and it never disappoints!! We biked, hiked, bouldered, mountain coastered, chair lifted, gondola'd, beached, and soaked up every minute in this gorgeous mountain paradise!! 🤩🙌🌲🌳🏞

Our last day in Alaska included another gorgeous train ride, from Talkeetna to Anchorage, with more amazing views of Denali and Pioneer Peak!! 🤩😍 It concluded with lost bags from the train (which were impressively found and delivered within an hour..phew!!), and a completely canceled Delta flight!? 😫😭🫣☠️☠️☠️

5 hours in line later (9pm-2am), we had a NEW flight scheduled, for TWO days later!? 😳😬 Delta covered all additional hotels, car rental, and even food for those two days, and an extra two days with cousins wasn't actually a bad deal at all!? Adventure begins when your plans end, and we definitely made the most of it! But we were all SO excited to finally land back home, in good ol' SLC!! 😍🥰🤩🙌

My name is Tina McComber, and I love to travel. I have a degree in Journalism and Marketing, work part-time for Utah State University, am a wife to a hockey-loving computer dude, and a mom to three of the best kids around. We have one bearded dragon, two outside cats, eleven chickens and a failed beehive. But my main passion in life is traveling!
