The International Film Festival of Gibara, called "Cuba's Best Kept Secret", is a cross between SXSW, Sundance, and Burning Man. The small town of Gibara becomes a hot cultural hub as it hosts the 15th annual film festival, formerly known as Cine Pobre (Poor Cinema) recognizing the creativity and artistry of low-budget filmmakers.
