The day of travel is always 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝘅 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. One minute, I’m excited—finally, my trip is here! The next, I’m feeling that little bit of 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 creeping in. Did I pack everything? Will security be a nightmare? What if my flight gets delayed?

Let’s be honest—𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴. I’ve made the mistake of piling my plate with everything in sight, only to end up way too full (and regretting it an hour later).

Now, I have a 𝗯𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 that helps me 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 without overdoing it:

✅ 𝗜 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸-𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁. I check out all my options before making my plate.
✅ 𝗜 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲. Some protein, fresh veggies, and a few things I really want to try.

One of my favorite things about staying at an all-inclusive resort? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱. Unlimited buffets, gourmet à la carte dining, poolside snacks—what’s not to love? But just because the food is endless 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽.

The room phone scam isn’t the only trick scammers use on travelers. Here are 3 other common hotel scams to avoid:

🔹 𝗙𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘂𝘀 – A menu is slipped under your door, but when you order, you’re giving your card info to a scammer. 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴.
