We are looking for volunteers to help with our 2nd annual Harry Pitter Night! If you just want to dress up and be a greeter or hand out candy or maybe help with one of our games. Stop by the Train Station today or next Thursday Sept.17th and join us in a night of fun!

Sorry to say but we have to cancel the 250th event due to the Labor Day Holiday weekend.

⚡👓🦉 Calling all Wizards! Our 2nd annual Harry Potter Night at the Tazewell Train Station & Visitors Center is set for Saturday, October 24, 2026!

This year we are expanding - we will have games, festivities, and costume contests at the Clinch River Pavilion, where you can park and ride the trolley to the Tazewell Train Station for the full experience 🚎

To make this happen, we need some volunteer magic⚡ Get more information & sign up to volunteer by dropping by the depot on Wednesday, September 9th or Thursday September 17th any time from 11:00 am - 5:30 pm. You can also call (276)988-2061 for more information.

What's up Wednesday from the Train Station.
Just a reminder tickets are on sale for our 250th celebration here at the train station. Tickets are $15 a seat. We will be serving hot ham and cheese sliders made with Virginia Ham. We will also be serving corn salad provided by Fisher and Company.
Ice tea , lemonade and other snacks are included.
We will also have a guest speaker talking about our Great Nation!

Heads up we will be looking for volunteers for our Harry Potter Night. More details coming soon.

Although the 4th of July has passed we here at the Train Station would like to keep the celebration going.
We are having our own 250th Birthday celebration on Saturday September 5th at 12 PM.
The celebration will consist of a guest speaker, who will be talking about our Decoration of Independence.
We will also be providing an indoor picnic lunch.
