What a weekend for the blues in Chenango County. 🎶 👏

From Doug MacLeod taking the stage for our first-ever Friday afternoon concert to a weekend full of incredible performances at the Chenango Blues Festival, Norwich was certainly the place to be.

A huge thank you to the Chenango Blues Association for the time, passion, and commitment that go into bringing this festival to our community year after year. Events like this make for a pretty special weekend here in Chenango County, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out and enjoyed it with us.

Overall, our first Friday afternoon concert was a HUGE success! The music was fantastic, the vibes were high, and we’re already looking forward to what’s next. 💙 🎸

What a way to celebrate 170 years! 🎉

Last night, NBT Bank marked its 170th anniversary right here in Chenango County with a celebration that included the unveiling of its new logo and one very exciting surprise for the community: a $170,000 pledge to the Chenango Blues Festival! 🎶

NBT Bank President Joe Stagliano and EVP of Retail Community Banking Shauna Hyle presented the check to Blues Festival Committee Chairman Eric Larson, with Norwich Mayor Robert Jeffrey also joining the celebration.

It was a pretty special night celebrating 170 years of NBT Bank and an investment in an event that has brought incredible music, energy, and visitors to Chenango County year after year. 💙

And with the Chenango Blues Festival happening this weekend, we’d say the timing couldn’t be better! 🎸

Get ready! The Chenango Blues Festival is coming back to Norwich, NY, this weekend, and we're pleased to announce that there’s a little something extra on the schedule this year. 🎶

On Friday afternoon, Commerce Chenango is bringing acclaimed acoustic bluesman Doug MacLeod to town for a FREE concert, giving blues fans an early start to a full weekend of music.

As a celebrated singer-songwriter, storyteller, and guitarist with decades of blues music under his belt, MacLeod's performance will be the perfect start to an already incredible weekend of live blues right here in Chenango County.
