HAT has donated the Cannondale to Dusty Carter, founder of Warrior Spirit Therapies through The Frosty Fund, Hanover Adventure Tour’s charitable outreach. The Frosty Fund is in memory of and recognizes the outdoor adventure spirit of Robert Chambers, founder of Hanover Adventure Tours, who passed in 2021.

Warrior Spirit Therapies, www.warriorspirittherapies.org works with members of the military and first responders to find healing coping strategies with a blend of scripture and wilderness therapy.

Dusty will embark on a cross country bike ride in the summer of 2024 as an awareness ride for vets and first responders. The ride is planned for May-July 2024 and will run west to east. Dusty has completed several cross country rides, with vets in the past. He has served four years with the Vermont National Guard, has deployed to the middle east with Operation Enduring Freedom in 2021 and has worked with the VT and NH Department of Corrections.

The Hanover Adventure Tours team summits in solidarity with outdoor adventurers of color, today and every day.

We just donated a 3-night hostel stay to ’s annual hiking campaign to raise money for racial justice and outdoor access programs in New England. We invite you to join us in fostering racial equity outdoors by heading to their page to sign up for a Summits in Solidarity hike, enter their raffle to win a stay with us, or simply make a donation by June 30. Anyone who believes that everyone should have equal access to the outdoors can participate from anywhere in the country.
