🍷🍴 EPCOT International Food & W**e Festival Review! 🌎✨

We just got back from the Food & W**e Festival at EPCOT, and let’s just say… we definitely didn’t leave hungry! 😂 From trying all kinds of yummy foods around the World Showcase to enjoying the festival atmosphere, it was such a fun experience. We also participated in BOTH scavenger hunts, which made exploring EPCOT even more entertaining!

One of the best parts of this festival is getting to sample flavors from different countries all in one place. Whether you’re a foodie, love a good scavenger hunt, or just enjoy experiencing something a little different at Disney, this festival is worth adding to your list!

✨ My tip: Come hungry, wear comfortable shoes, and give yourself plenty of time to explore. There’s so much to taste and discover!

Exploring the Kentucky Bourbon Trail!

Our trip between Bardstown and Louisville included visits to 15 distilleries! Whether you're a bourbon enthusiast or simply curious about Kentucky's famous bourbon heritage, there's plenty to explore along the way.

One thing I learned is that you don't have to book a tour to enjoy the distilleries! You can stop by to browse their fantastic gift shops, explore the grounds, and, at some locations, enjoy a meal at their restaurant. Many offer multiple tour and tasting options, so you can choose the experiences that interest you most.

Of course, there's more to this area than bourbon! We mixed in a few fun experiences along the way, including:

🏇 Kentucky Derby Museum
🔬 Louisville Science Center
🏛️ Frazier History Museum

Travel Tip Tuesday: don’t assume the room in the photo is the room you’re getting. 🏨

This is one of those small details that can make a big difference.

A hotel may show a beautiful room on the website, but that photo might represent a higher room category, a renovated section, a specific view, or simply a sample image — not necessarily the exact room you selected.

This is where a travel advisor can help.

You see a pretty room photo.
I’m looking at the fine print, the category differences, and the questions that help make sure the room actually fits your trip.
Because the goal is not just to book a hotel.

It’s to book the right room for the right traveler.
