I read yesterday, that in many cultures, when someone calls a person or a place beautiful, the response is "It's in your eyes".

We also know the phrase, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But do we consider what that actually means?

Your perception determines what you see. If you want to see greed and pain, you will easily find it.

If you want to see love and laughter. It's there.

Today on the Podcast Modern Wisdom, I hear them say, "it starts with the eyes you're seeing the world through".

We are actively choosing the world we observe. Things happen, we give them meaning.

The purpose of Revolutionary Travel is to change the way you see the world.

That means how you view it and also the way you go out into it.

Tips to begin:

*Let go of expectations
*Get outside your comfort zone
*Be open to not knowing and learning
*Stop doing to the same thing and expecting different results
*Smile and spread more love

Please protect your adventures!

I have been an agent (and avid traveler) for over 10 years. I used to weigh risk vs return with travel insurance.

If you've been paying any attention, travel isn't without risk today.

Flooding, fires, huge snowstorms... Technology interruptions, accidents....I could go on.

And chances are you might get by with zero delays (which we all pray for). We insure our vehicles not in hopes that we get into an accident and use our insurance, but to protect us if something happens.

Your flight is refundable? That's great until you are stuck overnight due to weather. The airline is not mandated to pay for a hotel room, if you can even find one.

Spring Break is literally right around the corner. Please put even the minimally amount to cover you in an emergency.

(Leaving the country? Does your medical even cover you there? If you need to be reimbursed by your insurance, the hospital may not treat without advance payment, yes I'm serious)
