Captree Fishing on the Captree Princess Super Cruiser is an 80 ft. long public fishing boat sailing out of Captree State Park, Long Island. 🇺🇸Captree Princess Thursday Report🇺🇸. Today’s 8AM trip saw really good action on Fluke but not as many keepers as we would’ve liked. 23 fishermen caught around 400 Fluke keeping 30 plus some Bonita. This afternoon’s 2PM Jigging “Special” well unfortunately wasn’t so special, only landing 18 Bonita and 40 or so Blues. It got slick calm out and I think that’s what put them off. We are jigging again tomorrow (Friday) afternoon on the 2PM trip and with some breeze forecasted hopefully the Bonita chew better. Friday morning 8AM looks good for Fluke. Tomorrow morning 8AM looks like perfect fluke conditions very light wind should be able to drift slow, we are expecting a very light crowd for 8am trip at this time. Good showing of fish between four and 5 LBS. The sharpies using GULP definitely had the upper hand today. Sailing every day 8AM big ocean fluke on our 85 foot aluminum super cruiser. 🚨🇺🇸CAPTREE PRINCESS OCEAN FLUKE BITE IS BACK ON!🇺🇸🚨 After 3 or 4 days or mediocre fishing the swell finally subsided and the bite was back on good today. This mornings 8am trip caught somewhere around 700 Fluke keeping 65, plus a decent showing of Triggerfish, sea bass, and scup. Those jigging GULP are still doing best. Captree Princess report last 2 days… Thursday saw a churned up Ocean and slow bight but we managed around 150 Fluke keeping 25 for a very light crowd. Friday started slowish but got better and better as the ocean settled down. Tomorrow (Saturday) morning 8AM is sold out but we have room on our 2PM trip and 7PM Sea Bass trip. Sunday morning is just about sold out but there is room on the afternoon trip. Another option for ocean Fluke is 7am full day on the Captree Pride. Captreeprincess.com for tickets

Fishing tickets now available! Buy online for a guaranteed spot! Walk-on will still be permitted if there is room (please call if your a last minute walk-on 631 404-6817) We will begin sailing this Thursday at 8am 5/28/2020 and daily after that. Please expect some small changes. We will keep you safe and comfortable as always to the BEST of our ability! As of now you can expect to have to reserve your trip ,simply by purchasing a ticket online. You will also need to have a face covering on board, however you do not need to fish with it on, but when you need to leave your area to use the Head ,walk around, go in the cabin, or walk to the top deck to smoke ( smoking onboard is permitted on top deck ONLY and NO VA**NG ONBOARD AT ALL ) .Then you will need to wear it. Please understand that although we want to just fish, we have responsibilities to keep everyone safe, and happy, and please be courteous and respectful using common sense while Aboard. WELCOME ABOARD and thank you.
